The Smart Alternative for Debris Removal
For fast, heavy lifting, in large or small quantities, call in our grapple truck. It’s never too big for your job, and the savings over conventional loading and hauling will surprise you. Reduce cost, reduce crew size and fatigue, move onto the next job faster.
80
Capacity in cubic yards of our grapple trucks. That's 11 times the size of the average dump trailer, and 6 times the size of the average dump truck.
30,000
Load capacity in pounds. The grapple head compresses brush, branches, and other vegetative material in the box, maximizing load capacity.
20
Length in feet of material that can be loaded. Multiple limbs at a time, no size reduction, no cutting, no chipping. Fast loading saves time and money.
4,000
Weight in pounds the grapple claw can grip and load into the box. Load longer logs, bigger stumps, and heavier debris. Reduces labor cost.
What is a Grapple Truck?
A grapple truck is a combination of a large, affixed steel box and a hydraulically operated clamshell jaw at the end of a knuckle boom extension, called a grapple loader. The grapple loader can grip and lift large, bulky, heavy debris and load it into the box. Our grapple trucks have a box capacity of 80 yards, that’s 11 times the yardage of the average dump trailer, and can haul 30,000+ lbs. in a load, items up to 20+ feet long, weighing up to 4000 lbs. each.
Efficiency and Savings
In a matter of minutes, the average debris pile from a 75-year-old tree can be loaded on our grapple truck and hauled away. Try doing that with a chipper and a dump trailer, and you’ll find it will take more workers, more time, more strain, and more potential for damage and injury than using our grapple truck service.
Job Costing
When job costing projects, the savings from utilizing our grapple truck services should not be overlooked. The intensive-labor way of completing projects may not be the best way. When you add it all up, the labor hours, overtime, wear and tear and operating costs of multiple pieces of equipment and drivers (trucks, chippers, trailers, more equipment runtime) a simple one-stop solution for debris removal can add to your bottom line.
Reduce Cost & Crew Size, Move onto the Next Job
It takes several workers many hours to chip brush, reduce limbs and logs to size, and load onto a trailer or dump truck. Not to mention multiple loads, drivers, and travel time back and forth to a dump site. This added material handling adds to your labor and equipment cost, accelerates worker fatigue, and presents opportunities for strain and injury. Employing a grapple truck for debris removal is a highly effective solution and allows you to reduce cost, reduce crew size, and move them onto the next job faster, increasing productivity and efficiency. There’s a time and a place for using a chipper, a dump trailer, or a dump truck, but for faster and efficient removal a grapple truck saves time and money.
